SPC MERLION 2000 SERIES are API CD oils specially formulated for normally-aspirated or supercharged marine, industrial and locomotive diesel engines burning high sulphur marine gas oil or marine diesel oil.

Application
SPC MERLION 2000 SERIES are recommended for lubrication of normally-aspirated and supercharged diesel engines in ocean-going marine vessels, supply boats, trawlers, oil rigs and industrial diesel generating sets. It is also recommended for locomotive diesel engines where a zinc-free oil is not specified. The 20 TBN alkalinity reserve in the oil is preferred for diesel engine burning marine fuel of up to 1.5% wt sulphur content.
