Safety Officer (Oil Terminal)

Job Overview

This role is responsible to manage Health, Safety, Security and Environment requirements of all 3 terminals in Singapore as per local and corporate regulatory requirements, such as MOM, NEA, SCDF, MHA on Infrastructure Protection Act and etc.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop an HSE Plan and Design Safety Philosophy for all related processes.
  • Lead and participate in all Safety Audits and Inspections.
  • Be responsible for the sustainability report and closure of all findings and recommendations.
  • Provide Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental advice and lead all Risk Assessments.
  • Close out all action plans, incidents, and inspection findings.
  • Liaise closely with Government Agencies.
  • Conduct and lead drills and exercises at terminals.
  • Ensure all documents are maintained.

 

Requirements 

  • Degree/Diploma in Health and Safety Engineering
  • Register Workplace Health and Safety Officer
  • Fire Safety Manager Preferred
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Possesses a good knowledge of Oil and Gas Process Facilities.
  • Team player with leadership potential and proactive communication skills.
  • Familiar with ALL HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and local regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work and travel among 3 terminals and the head office.
