Senior Corporate Communications Executive

Job Overview

The Senior Corporate Communications Executive is mainly responsible for managing and enhancing internal communication strategies and organizing corporate events. The Senior Executive will work closely with various departments to develop and implement communication plans and coordinate events that support organizational objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Communication:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to effectively convey corporate messages and updates to employees.
  • Create and manage content for internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet, emails, etc.
  • Prepare communications for Company Leaders according to company objectives, for example speeches, messages, presentations, videos, etc.
  • Draft and prepare reports and corporate news updates to HQ.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.

Event Organizing:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events such as town hall meetings, business events, sports competitions, CSR events, etc.
  • Manage event logistics including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, volunteers, guest invitations, photo-taking for events, if necessary, etc.
  • Develop event materials and presentations, ensuring they align with corporate branding and messaging.
  • Work with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution and adherence to budget.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage media data like corporate websites, social media platforms, etc.
  • Manage internal sport teams, review their plans and budget.
  • Handle HQ delegations from Beijing when they are doing business trip in Singapore.
  • Handle external communications like liaising with media, prepare media statements, press releases, manage corporate emails to ensure all media queries are attended to in a timely manner with relevant Management’s approval.
  • Prepare, review and track corporate communications annual budget and expenses.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Mass Communication, Business, Marketing, or Public Relations disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience.
  • Meticulous with good writing and editorial skills, as well as good communication skills.
  • Possess good presentation skills, good management and organizational skills.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, diplomacy and a strong sense of teamwork.
