As we expand our business, managing Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) issues and preserving the environment will always remain a top business priority in the company.
Management will take all reasonable measures to promote safe working practices, safeguard the environment, and to ensure that no one is unnecessarily exposed to the hazards which could be caused by our business operations and activities.
No job shall be performed in a manner that will jeopardize or compromise the safety or health of personnel at the facility or in the surrounding community, regardless of the urgency of the job. The personal safety and health of each employee and contractor on site is paramount. Management is committed to providing the necessary resources and personnel to meet this standard of performance.
SPC, including its contractors, shall maintain a HSE program conforming to the best available practices in our industry. Safety considerations shall be taken into account in everything we do. Most importantly, everyone is responsible for one’s own safety and expected to conduct their business in a safe and efficient manner and to adhere to all HSE policy and procedure. The objective is to reduce the number of HSE incidents to zero.
We strive to continually improve and to enhance the sustainable improvement mechanism for our HSE management systems to ensure company operations are capable of achieving compliance with new or impending legislation and to achieve a long-term goal in energy and emissions reductions through utilization of green technology for sustainable development.
As a socially responsible integrated oil company, SPC has put green development at a strategic level and place a high premium on controlling and reducing Green House Gas emissions to slow down climate change by taking active measures to reduce our carbon footprint.
