Job Description

  • Support Retail Systems projects including POS upgrades, Fleet Card solutions, and mobile app enhancements
  • Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into system specifications and statements of work
  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, resources, and stakeholders across internal teams and external vendors
  • Track project progress, prepare status updates, and maintain project documentation

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of data analysis for Business Intelligence (BI) reporting.
  • Good understanding of system development lifecycle methodologies for web and mobile applications. Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) or payment‑related technologies is highly desirable.
  • Possess IT and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in project management is an added advantage.
  • May be required to work beyond standard office hours to support retail station POS systems.

Job Overview

The Operations Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and compliance of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and operational compliance requirements across assigned Business Units. This role supports the establishment, maintenance, and continual improvement of safety and health management systems, ensuring alignment with company policies, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) legislation, and regulatory requirements from MOM, NEA, and SCDF. The incumbent will conduct audits, inspections, risk reviews, and training coordination, working closely with stakeholders to identify gaps, mitigate risks, and drive a strong safety and compliance culture within operations.

 

Job Description:

  • Conduct safety reviews across Marketing Business Units (BUs) to ensure Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) processes are in place; highlight non-compliance issues and identify, recommend, and follow up on corrective measures.

  • Establish, implement, and maintain the Safety & Health Management System (SHMS). Assist in the development, upkeep, and maintenance of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) documentation and records in accordance with WSH legislation.

  • Review method statements and risk assessments in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary legislation.

  • Inspect and audit workplaces to ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements. Support BUs in reviewing their risk assessments to identify foreseeable hazards and risks, and propose reasonably practicable measures to eliminate or reduce risks.

  • Review and update BUs’ workflow processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Review, recommend, and organise appropriate HSE training programmes for staff. Conduct and prepare reports for QHSSE internal and external audits, customer site assessments, table-top exercises, and emergency drills. Closely follow up on safety actions to ensure timely rectification.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience.

  • Certified Fire Safety Manager and/or Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM will be an added advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong operational background and keen attention to detail.

  • Familiar with MOM, NEA, and SCDF requirements, and well-versed in HSE practices.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Management Systems, as well as local WSH and Fire Safety regulations.

  • Hands-on knowledge of HSE operations.

  • Good organisational and planning skills.

  • Meticulous, proactive, and attentive to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategize, manage, monitor business profitability and market development and growth in key markets, formulate and review effective channel distributorship and sales policy, strategize and optimize the supply chain operations, including blending production and warehouse storage.
  • Strategize the product development and technical services support, develop & manage technical service action plans aligned with SPC Lubricant sales & business goals.
  • Oversee the lube related affiliated and/or subsidiary companies / partnership. In charge of recommending lubricant products by comparing competitive product information or customer lubricant requirements. Coordinate lubricant formulation projects & cross-functional development efforts.
  • Assist Distributors in providing technical advice & documents for their applications to SIRIM, SNI etc and handle their audits with blending plant(s).
  • Manage and disseminate up-to-date technical documents, including product data sheets and MSDS, to stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on technical consultation and site visits to customers and distributors in Singapore and key regional markets.
  • Diagnose lubrication-related equipment failures & recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct lubrication surveys and audits at blending plants, providing application-based recommendations to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
  • Plan & deliver technical training programs for internal staff, channel partners, end-users.
  • Manage existing accounts for local and export markets, Identify and generate sales leads to secure new customers in the designated territory.
  • Proactively plan and execute sales activities to boost business opportunities. Maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers/distributors. Evaluate, shortlist and select potential distributors for new markets.
  • Work closely with Support teams to ensure timely and smooth delivery of client orders, manage commercial contracts and credit.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support product launches, campaigns, and solution-based selling. Ensure adherence to HSE standards during technical operations and field support activities.
  • Prepare sales report (weekly, monthly) to track performance against targets and KPIs. Coordinate with relevant departments/ colleagues to ensure timely data submission across reporting sources. Assist in developing ad hoc reports for special projects, management reviews or performance evaluations.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business/Marketing/Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of lubricant formulation and additives application.
  • Industrial experience in marine, automotive and/or industrial engines repairs and maintenance
  • Must have at least 5 years relevant experience in Local & Regional Sales in the Lubricant sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with ability to translate technical insights into customer value.
  • Proficient in technical documentation, market research, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Good team player.
