SPC’s storage terminal at Pulau Sebarok supports its marine bunker operations and trading. The 220,000 cubic-metre storage terminal consists of 13 storage tanks and is equipped with a deepwater jetty for tankers up to 160,000 tonnes displacement, and other jetties, for barges up to 10,000 tonnes displacement.
Products handled include fuel oil and gas oil. All products are stored either on a commingled or segregated basis depending on the customers’ needs.
The terminal is highly automated to provide quick turnaround for tanker and barge operations. It is also equipped with a laboratory, which has the SINGLAS (Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) accreditation, capable of performing a full range of Quality Assurance tests on a 24-hour basis.
